THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT

The Wolves have netted five or more goals in four of their last seven outings after bagging five or more markers just five times in the previous 38 games; Chicago shares second in the AHL with an average of 3.27 goals per game this season.

WOLVES HEADLINES

--- Tim Stapleton: Collected three goals and six points in three games this week to extend his current point streak to seven games, which is a team season-high; he has notched 14 points (6G, 8A) during that span ... Ranks second on the Wolves and third in the AHL with 22 goals and ranks third on the team and 18th in the league with 39 points in 45 games this season ... He also leads the Wolves with six game-winning goals ... Three of his last five tallies have been game-winners

--- Joey Crabb: Posted four points (3G, A) in three games this week, which includes matching a team season-high two goals on Sunday ... Shares third on the team with 13 goals and ranks sixth with 24 points in 44 outings this season ... Recorded 10 points (5G, 5A) and a +10 plus/minus rating in his last eight games, which includes netting eight points (3G, 5A) during a season-best six-game point streak from Jan. 10 to Jan. 22

--- Matt Anderson: Dished out four assists in three games this week, which includes matching a career-high three helpers on Sunday ... Shares 10th on the team with six goals and ninth with 18 points in 31 contests this season ... Paces team forwards and ranks third overall on the team with a +10 plus/minus rating ... Posted 10 points (2G, 8A) in his last seven tilts, which includes notching seven points (2G, 5A) during a career-high five-game point streak from Jan. 13 to Jan. 22

--- Brett Sterling: Notched five points (G, 4A) in three games this week, which includes matching a career-best three assists on Jan. 22 ... Paces the Wolves and ranks second in the AHL with 23 goals and ranks second on the team and shares 12th in the league with 41 points in 39 games this year ... Recorded at least one point in 28 of his 39 outings this season, and has posted multiple points nine times

WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago has collected victories in 11 of its last 13 games (11-2-0-0), which includes posting a season-high seven-game win streak from Jan. 9 to Jan. 22; the Wolves hold fourth in the West Division with 54 points through 45 games (26-17-0-2).

--- Wolves captain Jason Krog's goal on Saturday snapped a streak which saw him fail to net a goal in 13 games; the 34-year-old forward paces the Wolves and shares first in the AHL with 38 assists and leads the team and shares fifth in the league with 46 points in 43 games this year.

--- The Wolves surrendered a goal while being down five-on-three for the first time this season on Sunday; Chicago ranks seventh in the league with an 86.2 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (163 of 189).

--- Wolves goaltender Peter Mannino turned aside 26 of 27 shots on Sunday to collect his fourth straight win; the 25-year-old netminder has held opponents to two or fewer goals in 14 of his 17 outings this season, which includes allowing a single tally in each of his last three starts.

--- Chicago was blanked on the power-play for just the third time in its last 12 matchups on Sunday; the Wolves rank sixth in the AHL with a 19.2 efficiency rating on the power-play (35 of 182).

--- Goaltender Kari Lehtonen, who was assigned by the Atlanta Thrashers for a conditioning stint on Friday, posted 32 saves on 37 shots in his first game action since April 11, 2009 on Saturday night.

RUBBER PUCK-Y

--- The Wolves wives will kick off their puck fundraiser on Sat., Jan 30, and will be selling autographed pucks during home games throughout the month of February. The specially wrapped pucks, which contain candy and the autograph of a surprise Wolves player, can be purchased for $10 in the East, North and South concourses of the Allstate Arena. Fans who buy a puck that has a player's name signed in gold will have the chance to meet that player after the game.

--- The Wolves scored three times in the first period and never let up on the way to a 5-1 victory over the Grand Rapids Griffins at the Allstate Arena
--- Right wing Joey Crabb netted a pair of goals, while center Matt Anderson (3A) and right wing Tim Stapleton (G, A) also posted multiple-points
--- Goaltender Peter Mannino stopped 26 shots to collect his fourth straight win

--- Chicago rallied with a three-goal third period but fell short, 5-4, to the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena
--- Forwards Jason Krog, Brett Sterling and Tim Stapleton and defenseman Paul Postma scored for the Wolves
--- Goaltender Kari Lehtonen made 32 saves in his season debut

Fri., Jan. 22

--- The Wolves opened scoring nine seconds into the game and never looked back on the way to a 6-3 win over the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center
--- Forwards Tim Stapleton (G, 2A) and Brett Sterling (3A) paced the Wolves offense with three points each
--- Goaltender Drew MacIntyre kicked out 23 shots
